“ Capital Cafe was a perfect place for some good Mexican food. Service was great, our waiter was awesome, I don’t remember his name, but he was good. Overall a very enjoyable experience. Sopapillas to go with butter and honey. ”
“ Martin's Capital Cafe review. Stopped by this wonderful cafe for breakfast. Older decor and experienced staff provided an awesome nostalgic atmosphere. Table waitress service was super fast. Food was outstanding and tasty and menu items reasonable priced. I recommend eating here over any and all of the fast food joints that are nearby. You won't be disappointed. And you might consider the experience an EXCELLENT one. Here are the menus for breakfast and lunch/dinner and a photo of the Heuvos Rancheros I thoroughly enjoyed. Returned for the lunch menu a week later. Fantastic! ”
“ We make a habit of eating here every time we’re in town. Always accommodating, quick and delicious. Impressed enough we look forward to it in advance. Family friendly, small town feel. ”
“ During the eclipse, we met someone who had gotten a recommendation from a Roswell local that Martin's Capitol Cafe was the "best New Mexican food in town". The decor felt like a bit of a throwback and kind of cool at the same time. The menu had too many selections but but hubby ordered the chile relleno plate al caballo and I had the stuffed sopapilla. There was sooooo much food and the prices were extremely reasonable. The food was fresh and delicious, very different from the options readily available in the SF East Bay area.. Our server was very friendly, made us feel welcome and had a great sense of humour. There were, however, some diners that were, uhm, a little odd ... like outer space alien odd We could not finish our meals, so our leftovers were packed up and they included extra order chips to go with. Note: the booth we sat in was was not terribly comfortable. The covers were cracked and the springs have given up I suspect they are all that way. You might be better off sitting in the middle of the dining room with the hard, straight-backed chairs. I would definitely stop here again on my way through to infinity - and beyond! ”
“ Considering Roswell brings many tourists in for the UFO craze, we were genuinely surprised at how great the food and service were! We expected this to be a mediocre place that put food in our belly. We were VERY wrong! The salsa was fresh and tasty, the restaurant was impeccably clean, our waiter was friendly and fast and the food was delicious. My wife got the enchiladas and I got the taco salad. The chicken was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Kudos, Martin’s Capitol Cafe! We’ll be back when in the area. ”
“ Our first time eating here and this place was good, really good.. the service was even better. Our waitress was fast and had us everything we needed before we needed it.. our kids cleaned their plates, and that's pretty rare for them. I highly recommend this place to eat at.. the prices are even better.. loved this place.. ”
“ Came here on October 6 for dinner. The food and service were excellent starting with the chips and salsa! I ordered enchiladas and my husband ordered Christmas Chile Rellenos. Both were perfectly done but I did love my husband's entree more and had wished that I ordered it instead! ”
“ We were passing through and the lady at the museum referred us here for lunch. I'm glad we went. The server was great and friendly. The food was delicious. I had thr shredded chicken taco salad and my husband had the Mexican chicken fried steak. Definitely would recommend this place. ”
